The Sunflower State has a collection of famous aviators, from Amelia Earhart to General Welch. Learn about their adventures in aviation and see many of their historical artifacts displayed in our museum.

Military Exhibits
See the impact of flight across our nation’s history with special exhibits focused on military operations in World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and more. Our museum houses hundreds of military artifacts, including the Norden bombsight (on loan from the Kansas Cosmosphere).

International Flying Farmers
Flight has helped feed the world! Learn more about the impact of aviation on the agriculture industry through our special exhibit dedicated to the International Flying Farmers organization.

Hot Air Balloon Exhibit
This fan-favorite special exhibit shows us how not all air travel requires wings or rotors! Watch our hot air balloon fill and learn how to float through the skies in a basket.

Mid-America Air Museum recently received a Grumman Ag Cat crop-duster donated by local Master Pilot, Jim Floyd. Our volunteers and staff have been working on a special exhibit to showcase this special plane! Be sure to watch our Facebook page to see an unveiling of the finished exhibit space.
